About

Fifteen years with diamonds

I've worked in diamonds and fine jewelry for more than 15 years. I completed GIA's diamond grading course and trained in jewelry design, so I can tell you exactly what you're looking at in a stone and help you design a setting that suits it.

I've traveled to the world's major diamond centers in India, Israel, and Belgium to source stones directly from the manufacturers, so I know where the best diamonds come from and what they should cost.

Every piece starts with a conversation and ends with one person wearing something made for them.

Use a ring that fits. Measure straight across the inside of the band, edge to edge, in millimeters.

Measure the finger it's for. Sizes differ between hands and fingers, and fingers swell a little after a workout or in heat.

Between two sizes? Send us both numbers and we'll help you choose.

Natural, lab-grown, or moissanite?

I offer all three, so you can choose what fits your style and budget. Here's how they compare, and I'm happy to show you them side by side.

How lab-grown diamonds are made

HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) recreates the heat and pressure deep in the earth that turn carbon into diamond.

CVD (chemical vapor deposition) breaks down a carbon-rich gas and builds diamond on a small diamond seed, layer by layer. Many CVD diamonds are heat-treated after growing to improve their color.

Why a diamond tester isn't enough

Natural and lab-grown diamonds have essentially the same chemical, physical, and optical properties. A basic diamond tester says "diamond" for both. Gem labs such as GIA separate them with spectroscopy and specialized instruments, and lab-grown diamonds can be laser-inscribed and reported as laboratory-grown.

Honest labeling

Every stone I sell is identified in writing as natural, lab-grown, or moissanite. Lab-grown diamonds and moissanite are never presented as natural. Ask me for the grading report on any stone.
